(1) Eligibility: Sweepstakes is offered only to all persons, age 18 and older as of the date of entry, who are legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia for the duration of the Sweepstakes. You will also be asked whether you would like to receive NBCOlympic.com email updates, as well as information on Eidos Interactive, but your consent is not required as a condition of entering the sweepstakes, (2) By Mail: Hand-print on a 3 inch by 5 inch blank card the words "SYDNEY 2000 OFFICIAL VIDEO GAME SWEEPSTAKES" your name, address and telephone number, and e-mail address (if you do not have an e-mail address, print "no e-mail address") and mail in a hand-printed envelope to: Sydney 2000 Official Video Game Sweepstakes, Eidos Interactive, 651 Brannan Street, Suite 400, San Francisco, CA 94107. No photocopied or mechanically reproduced entries accepted. You may submit only one (1) entry per person, household or e-mail address . (In the event of a dispute regarding who submitted a particular on-line entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail account.) Sponsors are not responsible for late, lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible, or postage-due entries. Incomplete or illegible entries are not eligible. Entries received during one drawing period which are not selected as winners will remain eligible for each subsequent drawing, if any. Three winners will be selected at each drawing. Winners will not be permitted to re-enter for any remaining drawings. (3) Prize: The winners selected from each drawing will receive one of the following packages (determined by Sponsors): A Dreamcast Package consisting of one (1) Sega Dreamcast (APV $199.00) and one (1) copy of Sydney 2000: The Official Video Game of the Olympic Games for the Sega Dreamcast (APV $49.99); A PlayStation Package consisting of one (1) PlayStation game console (APR $99.00) and one (1) copy of Sydney 2000: The Official Video Game of the Olympic Games for the PlayStation game console (APR $39.95) or A PC Package consisting of one (1) 3dfx Voodoo 5 card (APR $300.00) and one (1) copy of Sydney 2000: The Official Video Game of the Olympic Games for the PC (APR $39.99). No alternative prize, cash equivalent, or other substitution is permitted except by Sponsor in the event of prize unavailability. Prize is nontransferable. All federal, state and/or local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winners. (4) Winner: Winner will be determined by random drawing from all eligible entries received, to be conducted by Sponsor at its offices on or about 4 business days from the end of each drawing period (as set forth above). All decisions by Sponsor in regard to this sweepstakes are final and binding. Odds of winning depend on total number of eligible entries received. In order to claim prize, each Winner will be required to complete an affidavit or declaration of eligibility and/or liability and publicity release which must be signed and returned so that it is received within 7 days of date printed on notification or alternate winner will be selected at random. Sponsor is not responsible for and shall not be liable for late, lost, misdirected, or unsuccessful efforts to notify winners. The winner forfeits the prize if not claimed within seven days of notification by e-mail, or if the notification e-mail, after up to three attempts, is returned as undeliverable. (5) General Terms and Conditions: By participating, entrants agree that Sponsors, their shareholders, agents and representatives, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies, and legal advisors are not responsible or liable for, and shall be released and held harmless from: (i) telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties of any kind; (ii)any condition caused by events beyond the control of Sponsors that may cause the Sweepstakes to be disrupted or corrupted; (iii) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Sweepstakes; (iv) any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with or resulting from participation in the Sweepstakes, acceptance, possession, or use of any prize, including without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy. Sponsors reserve the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend or cancel Sweepstakes at any time if a computer virus, bug, or other technical problem corrupts the administration, security, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. By participating in the Sweepstakes, participants grant to Sponsors the right to use and publish their proper name and state of residence online, in print and in any other media in connection with the Sweepstakes. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winner based on an e-mail address, the winning entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an internet service provider, on-line service provider or other organization (e.g. business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
